Damaris Irungu

Damaris Irungu Ochieng’ is an international Emmy award winning writer (2012) on a three-platform digital category for Edutainment comic Shujaaz, Jongo Love Radio and TV Drama. As a content developer/screenwriter/ Script editor, she has successfully steered 71 TV movies of different genres for MNET’s Africa Magic Original Films project. She is also a script writing facilitator at the Multi Choice Talent factory (East Africa) and a former lecturer at ADMI (Africa Digital Media Institute).

Zippy Okoth

Zippy Okoth is a lecturer in theatre and film studies at Kenyatta University. She is a producer, director and actor on stage, in film and TV and a singer. She is the founder of the Lake International Pan African Film Festival and director of the Legacy Arts and Film Lab Kenya. Zippy was the top judge in the Ms. President Reality TV Show and an Ambassador for the Young Leaders Programme of the French-African Foundation.

Martin Munyua

Martin Munyua is an award-winning filmmaker who specializes in cinematography with a career spanning close to 30 years. His screen credits also include directing, editing, producing, writing, as well as creating TV show formats. He is one of the founding directors of Dreamcatcher Productions Ltd, the current Chairman of the Kenya Film & Television Professionals Association (KFTPA) and is a member of several film-related committees. His latest creation is the virtual TV show called Gr8leadership Live that streams on YouTube and Facebook.

Bruce Makau

Bruce Makau is an actor and a director. A graduate of Mass Communications from Maseno University, Bruce’s acting career began at the Phoenix Players. He has also acted with Heartstrings Ensemble and Back to Basic theatre groups. In 2015, he won the Sanaa Theater Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role where he played nine different characters in John Sibi Okumu’s play ‘Kaggia’. He is currently cast as ‘Jabali’, one of the lead characters in ‘KINA’, an African telenovela on DSTV’s Maisha Magic platform. His directorial experience spans across top productions on DSTV such as Monica and Nganya.

Serge Noukoue

Serge Noukoue is the Film and Media Attaché for Kenya and East Africa at the French Embassy in Nairobi. He has worked in the Film & TV industry in Europe, Latin America and Africa. A versatile professional, Serge is highly experienced in content sales and acquisitions as well as in media cooperation and training. He is the co-founder of NollywoodWeek, an annual film festival in Paris that has been taking place since 2013. He has also worked as a programmer for various festivals.
