Krysteen Savane

Krysteen Savane is a film producer and actress with experience on both stage and screen. She has starred in several critically acclaimed films including Soul Boy, Ni Sisi, Sense 8,… She worked as Production Manager on Watu Wote (All of Us) which won Best Short Film at the Student Oscar Awards 2017 and was nominated for Best Live Action short film, in the 2018 Academy Awards. She is currently the Chairperson of the Oscars Selection Committee – Kenya. She also runs the Anno’s Africa and One Fine Day Creative Art programs in Nairobi.

Patrick Gathara

Patrick Gathara is a strategic communications consultant, blogger, author, and an award-winning political cartoonist. He is a regularly published commentator on regional and international affairs and his work has appeared in multiple publications, including The Washington Post, Al Jazeera, and The Star. He is the curator-in-chief at The Elephant, the online media platform speaking truth to power.

Lydia Matata

Lydia Matata is a filmmaker and an independent journalist. She is one of ten laureates of the UNESCO and Nara International Film Festival Residency for African Women Filmmakers, and a One World Media and a Hot Docs Fellow. She is one of the writer/creators of Country Queen, a Kenyan/German co-produced TV series which was recently optioned by Netflix. Her short documentary ‘Utapata Mwingine’ premiered at the Sema Stori virtual festival in August 2020. Her short film ‘Millet’ won the Docubox Shorts, Shorts and Shots script writing competition in 2018 and her film Sungura was one of eight finalists of the Interfilm International Short Film Festival’s Script Pitch Competition and a Screencraft Short Film Fund Finalist in 2019.

Enock Sikolia

Enock Sikolia is an award-winning investigative journalist, recipient of the 2015 CNN Multichoice African Journalist of the Year Award as well as the 2018 and 2019 Annual Journalism Excellence Awards in the Business and Environment reporting categories. He has worked for leading media houses in Kenya and is currently leading the Africa Live segment on CGTN that focuses on African stories told from an African perspective.

Serge Noukoue

Serge Noukoue is the Film and Media Attaché for Kenya and East Africa at the French Embassy in Nairobi. He has worked in the Film & TV industry in Europe, Latin America and Africa. A versatile professional, Serge is highly experienced in content sales and acquisitions as well as in media cooperation and training. He is the co-founder of NollywoodWeek, an annual film festival in Paris that has been taking place since 2013. He has also worked as a programmer for various festivals.
