Wambui Gathee

Wambui Gathee is a Kenyan director, producer, film curator and freelance photographer. She is currently the Screenings Manager at Docubox. Wambui has also been curating short fiction films for about four years for an exciting quarterly film screening event called the Shorts, Shorts & Shots. She won three awards for her short film ‘Love Zawadi’. Wambui is also involved in impact work through the Sema Stori campaign funded by Comic Relief as the Regional Impact Producer for ten short documentary films. She is an alumnus of Southern Africa Locarno Industry Academy (SALIA), Some Fine Day Pix, Great Lakes Producer's Lab, Durban Film Mart (DFM) Business Lab and Festival Academy. Wambui is a firm believer in artistic visual storytelling that is well represented in her filmography as well as photography.

Paul Kelemba (Maddo)

Paul Kelemba (Maddo) writes and illustrates the 34-year-old weekly, full-page composite cartoon feature It’s a Madd, Madd World, a satirical look at society, culture, arts, and politics in The Saturday Standard. He has worked for various publications as a cartoonist and illustrator including the Daily Nation, several magazines and periodicals. He produces IEC illustrations for UN agencies in Nairobi. He is a founding member of Ketebul Music which documents and archives East African music genres. He also sits on the board at Buni Media Limited, a television content provider that produces the popular XYZ Show and hosts the retrospective music show Maddo’s Goldies every Sunday on KBC English Service.

Rachel Diang’a

Rachel Diang’a is the Chair of the Department of Cinematic Arts at the United States International University – Africa. She is a Film scholar specializing in African Cinemas; an award-winning film producer, director and scriptwriter; a seasoned film, literature and theatre arts trainer as well as a creative arts consultant and public speaker. Her research interests are in contemporary African films and decolonization of the African Cinemas, film education and screening cultures.

Serge Noukoue

Serge Noukoue is the Film and Media Attaché for Kenya and East Africa at the French Embassy in Nairobi. He has worked in the Film & TV industry in Europe, Latin America and Africa. A versatile professional, Serge is highly experienced in content sales and acquisitions as well as in media cooperation and training. He is the co-founder of NollywoodWeek, an annual film festival in Paris that has been taking place since 2013. He has also worked as a programmer for various festivals.
