Jackson Kangethe

Jackson Kangethe is a Kenyan cinematographer known for his work with director Zippy Okoth on Midlife Crisis (2020), which earned him a Kalasha nomination. He won Best Cinematographer at the 48 Hour Film Project (2021) for Hypnagogia. Kang'ethe has collaborated with Kigondu Martin on Contained (2020) and other short films. He began pursuing filmmaking at 13 and is passionate about telling authentic African stories.

Wendy Kirorei is an independent multimedia producer and communications consultant with a strong passion for art, culture, and humanitarian and developmental projects across Africa. She is a talented photographer with a remarkable ability to capture moments that tell compelling stories.

Wanjeri Gakuru

Wanjeri Gakuru is a journalist, essayist, curator and filmmaker. She has co-written award-winning feature films including the internationally acclaimed, Supa Modo (2018) and Lusala (2019). Her short film, Transaction (2024) successfully premiered at Unseen Nairobi and was the winner of a 2022 DocuBox Short Film Grant, was selected as a 2022 Interfilm Script Lab finalist and secured a 2023 Kosinima Short Film Grant. Wanjeri was in the writers room for Country Queen, Kenya's first original TV series on Netflix.

Darius Okolla

Darius Okolla is a dedicated policy practitioner with a background in public policy and financial economics. He has had the privilege of consulting for organizations such as Greenpeace Africa, PEN International, Heinrich Boll Foundation, PAWA 254, and Tearfund South Africa. His work primarily focuses on public policy, geopolitics, research, and advocacy. Currently, he plays a key role in managing projects, events, and partnerships at The Elephant under Inuka Ni Sisi Ltd, where he aims to contribute to meaningful change.
